Most standard fish oil capsules contain about 300mg of omega-3 per 1 gram capsule, so you would need to consume 9 capsules per day. A more efficient way to get your daily dose is to take high-strength liquid oil instead, as you only need about a teaspoon each day. Consuming 2-3 serves of fish each week will also be beneficial for providing your body with omega-3 fatty acids, as well as many other nutrients.
